Our pigs are pasture-raised with room to roam, root, and behave naturally. We focus on humane animal care and raising quality pork in a low-stress environment.

What breed of pigs do you raise?

We primarily raise Old Spot pigs and Old Spot crosses known for their excellent flavor, marbling, and traditional heritage pork qualities.

Are your pigs pasture-raised?

Yes. Our pigs are raised outdoors with access to pasture, fresh air, shade, and natural rooting areas.

What do your pigs eat?

Our pigs are fed a balanced diet that includes quality feed along with access to pasture and natural forage opportunities.

Do you use antibiotics or growth hormones?

We never use growth hormones. Animal health and welfare are always a priority, and any medical treatment decisions are handled responsibly and humanely.

Is your pork USDA inspected?

All pork sold by Boggy Bay Farm is processed at a USDA-inspected facility.

What makes Boggy Bay Farm pork different from grocery store pork?

Our pork is raised with care on pasture instead of in confinement barns. Customers often notice richer flavor, better marbling, and a more traditional pork taste.
